Auto Snapshot plug-in for Autodesk Maya

Description

Auto Snapshot plug-in is a tool that lets user make snapshots of Maya perspective view. Plug-in is made for Maya 2018 and tested on Maya 2018/2019/2020 on Windows. It is not tested on Maya 2022 and I think it shouldn't even work with that particular version of newer because Maya uses now Python 3 instead of Python 2. Snapshots can be taken automatically or manually. There are 9 different renders that plug-in can output: original, grayscale, cartoon (color), cartoon (gray), normal map, pencil sketch, edges, warming and cooling.

Snapshot will contain all the info that are drawn over the Maya's perspective view like: Poly Count, View Cube, View Axis...

Installation

• Unzip auto_snapshot_v_1_0.zip
•  Copy unzipped content: auto_snapshot_v_1_0.py, cv2.pyd, numpy and auto_snapshot_v_1.0 into ...\Documents\Maya\2018\plug-ins (If You don't have plug-ins directory create it)
• Open Maya and go to Windows - Settings/Preferences - Plug-in Manager select Loaded after the auto_snapshot_v_1_0.py plug-in
• Open Script editor and in Python window type:

               import maya.cmds as cmds
               cmds.Auto_Snapshot_v_1_0()

• Run script
